A teenager believed to be responsible for at least ten residential burglaries in Chelan County over the past couple of years was detained recently. Chelan County Sheriff Brian Burnett reports that the 17 year old male has been released into the custody of his parents and will be summoned to juvenile court to face charges after investigations have been completed. Burnett says three of the burglaries took place in the Malaga area in the last couple of weeks. He says it appears the majority of the burglaries took place during daylight hours with the suspect gaining access through either an unlocked door or window.
