KPQ is getting initial reports about a blown electrical transformer in the vicinity of East Street in Wenatchee. Emergency responders say the damage resulted in a power outage on Easy Street, Sunnyslope and Sleepy Hollow areas. The Chelan PUD says power will be restored to buildings in those areas by 10p.m. Rivercom Emergency dispatchers reported a brush fire in the lower Sunnyslope area. The Lower Sunnyslope Road will be close as PUD linemen repair the transformer.
