A blown transformer resulted in a loss of power for several hundred homes and a small brush fire in the vicinity of Easy Street and Lower Sunnyslope Road Saturday evening. Chelan County PUD officials say power was lost on Easy St. . . Lower Sunnyslope Road and Sleepy Hollow Heights when a tree fell onto some power lines around six p.m., sending sparks onto the ground. Chelan County Fire District 1 Firefighter Jordan Kuntz says the sparks turned into a small brush fire.
Kuntz says the fire burned a tenth of an acre of light grass. Power was restored around 10p.m.
