Chelan and Douglas Counties saw an "uptick" in jobs during the month of September.
Up from August's unemployment rate of 7.2-percent . . .new numbers show 6.3-percent of residents were without jobs last month.

Adams county maintained a jobless rate of seven percent. . .Okanogan had 7.4-percent of residents in need of a job and Grant ranked the highest in region with a 7.7-percent unemployment rate.
