Professional concert pianist George Francois will give a recital Monday at Wenatchee Valley College. College spokeswoman Libby Siebens says that's set for noon in the Grove Recital Hall, in the new Music and Art Center on the Wenatchee campus. The 45 minute recital includes work by Chopin, Liszt and Schuman. Siebens says prior to the recital Francois will instruct a master class at ten a.m. Both events are free and open to the public.
Francois, who is based in New York, has performed all around the U.S., Europe and Africa. Sieben says the native of Ghana is in town to record at the College with cellist Sally Singer Tuttle and violinist Rachel Barton Pine.
