A 29 year old Brewster man was charged with driving under the influence following a one vehicle accident near the Brewster Bridge Friday night. Douglas County Sheriff Harvey Gjesdal says Farbricio Lopez-Franco was on Crane Orchard Road around 10-40p.m. when his pickup left the road and went about eight feet down an embankment. Lopez-Franco was not hurt. Gjesdal says evidence at the scene indicated he may have been drinking. Lopez-Franco, who was booked at the Okanogan County jail without incident, had a blood alcohol content over twice the legal limit.
