The Wenatchee Wild lost Saturday 6-3 to the visiting Minot Minotauros.
The Wild fell behind early Saturday when Minot tallied a pair of special teams goals within the first 5:14 of the first period. The Wild came back went into the locker room trailing the Minotauros, 2-1.
The Wild tied up the game, 2-2, when Powlowski cleaned up a rebound 5:31 into the second period. However, the Minotauros tied up the game prior to the second intermission. Unfortunately, the third period did not go Wenatchee’s way, and Minot left the Town Toyota Center with a 6-3 win behind third-period goals.
