A 49 year old Cashmere man who has been missing since Saturday morning, is in good condition after he made his way to a hunting camp in Yakima County Monday. Sergeant George Town, Search and Rescue Coordinator for the Yakima County Sheriff's Office says Lance Chipman, who was on horseback, rode out to his vehicle Saturday at the White Pass campground to get supplies. Chipman told searchers he got a late start heading back to camp, and it became dark while he was on the trail. After getting off his horse for a few minutes, his steed took off leaving him stranded. The horse is still at large. Town says Chipman was able to make his way to the Soda Springs camp, several miles west of Dumbbell Lake, where a fellow hunter gave him a ride to the Search camp.
