Unofficial returns from election night have Douglas County Commissioner Ken Stanton retaining his district one seat. Stanton garnered 56 percent of the tallies to Carol Kavanaugh's 44 percent.
Douglas County Commissioner Dale Snyder has a smaller lead over his challenger Ed Daling. Snyder leads Daling 52 to 48 percent. With an estimated 34 hundred ballots still to be counted, Snyder leads Daling by 310 votes.
The next update from the Douglas County Auditor's office is set for Friday afternoon.
