A 34 year old Seattle man was treated for non-life threatening injuries after the boat he was driving crashed into a rocky island in the Columbia River, below the Rock Island Dam. Corporal Jason Reinfeld says three duck hunters were heading down river from the Tarpicsan boat launch when their boat ran aground around six a.m. Saturday.
The duck hunters and their dog was rescued a few hours later. Reinfeld says it may be a little while before the boat can be taken off the rocky outcropping.
