SH Chelan County Prosecutor Dismisses Pot Charges (AUDIO)
Like other counties around the state. Chelan County's prosecutor is dismissing all misdemeanor marijuana possession charges following the approval of the state's pot measure. Prosecutor Doug Shae says there are currently 10 cases pending in court . .
Shae says any cases involving defendants under the age of 21 will proceed as normal. Initiative 502 legalizes marijuana use for adults of one ounce or less in Washington. It goes into effect on December 6th.
