11/15/12 Wild Joy Ride In Stolen Cashmere City-Owned Truck (AUDIO)



A man who authorities say stole a Cashmere City-owned truck and equipment was arrested last night, But authorities say he left a trail of damage after taking the truck on a wild joy ride. Jeff Middleton with the Chelan County Sheriffs office says the 41 year old suspect walked into the City maintenance shop off Railroad Avenue at around 7 oclock last night. Inside the man allegedly stole several pieces of equipment and placed them into the truck bed before hijacking the rig.
Middleton says the suspect is now in jail facing a multitude of charges including DUI.
