A non-profit group that promotes and celebrates the arts in the Upper Wenatchee Valley has a new director. Hana Getingser, board chair for Icicle Arts in Leavenworth, says Alicia McKee has been chosen as the group's new Managing Director. She replaces Anna Miller who left in July to take a position with the Seattle Repertory Jazz Orchestra. Getingser says although it was difficult for them to operate without a leader, the board wanted to take the time to find the right person. McKee began her new position earlier this week.
