A convicted wildlife poacher was sentenced to six months in jail Monday for twice hunting deer in 2011.
18-year old Martin Alvarez Sandoval of Wenatchee was one of six people accused shooting six deer out of season last January.
Sandoval and the other five defendants were accused of hunting deer in an orchard within the Swakane Canyon.
Sandoval pleaded guilty to unlawful big game hunting and possession of a firearm.
The four other defendants, all from Wenatchee included Eric Barrera, Jose Manuel Garcia, Matteo Bryan Cortez and Roman Garcia Hernandez.
The last person charged was Aniceto Garcia Vega, an illegal alien from Mexico.
