12/07/12 Power Outage



About 600 homes in the Lake Wenatchee area are without power this morning after heavy snow has knocked down transmission lines in the area.

Kimberly Craig with Chelan County PUD says the outage area includes the Highway 207 area and Browns Road with customers in the Braeburn Road also affected.

Craig says line crews are working to restore electrical service but that more outages are possible due to the continuing heavy snowfall . .

 


Craig says customers should prepare now for the winter season when power outages are a normally a nuisance . .
