Deputy prosecutor Roy Fore has been selected to replace Alicia Nakata as Chelan County's new District Court Judge. Chelan County Commissioners made the selection today (Tuesday) after a series of interviews with three candidates. County Administrator Cathy Muhall says Fore's 21-year of experience as a Chelan County prosecutor brings a lot to the table. . .
Fore's experience as an attorney ranges from misdemeanors to class A felonies. Fore himself says he's honored to be chosen as the new justice. . .
Fore was chosen over lawyers Travis Brandt and Tony Detomasso. Brandt, a local attorney, lost to current District Court Judge Alicia Nakata in the Superior Court Justice race in November.
Fore will take the bench on January 2nd.
