The power came back on for about a thousand Chelan PUD customers in the Lake Wenatchee and Plain areas Tuesday afternoon. 32-hundred residents were without electricity after Monday's snow storm. PUD crews also restored its fiber optics services to a third of its customers. As for the rest without power, PUD Commissioner Dennis Bolz says it'll be awhile before the lights come back on . . .

Individuals affected by power loss and freezing temperatures are encourage to seek shelter at the American Red Cross Shelter located at the Icicle Middle School in Leavenworth.
