Two people were killed yesterday afternoon when a tree fell onto their Suburban on Stevens Pass. State troopers identified the victims as 58 year old Timothy Owen, the driver, and 56 year old Cheryl Reed, both of Bothell. The State Patrol report says three others in the car, all from the Puget Sound area were injured and transported to Central Washington Hospital for treatment. The accident occured at about 1:20 Friday afternoon about 21 miles west of Leavenworth. The highway was closed for several hours.
