The power came back on in time for Christmas in 1,800 homes north of Leavenworth.

Chelan PUD's Steve Lachowicz says a recent break in the weather made way for lots of progress. . .

 

About two thousand homes have yet to see power restored.

Lachowicz says no tentative timeline has been set for further restoration.
