No one was injured in a fire that destroyed a double-wide mobile home up McNeil Canyon Thursday afternoon. Chelan County Fire District 7 chief Tim Lemon says deep snow hampered the firefighting effort.
Lemon says the resident was away at the time of the fire. While he wasn't hurt, his dog died. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
The fire, a few miles up McNeil Canyon road was first reported around 12-45 Thursday afternoon.
