The diversity and richness of culture in the Wenatchee Valley will be celebrated Saturday at the annual Multicultural Fest 2013 at the Wenatchee Valley Museum and Cultural Center. Museum Director Brenda Abney says with more than 20 groups participating in the event, the valley is much more diverse than people may think:
The event also encompasses the annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration, with the annual presentation of the Civil Rights and Social Justice awards at 3 p.m. The fest runs from 11 am to 4 pm at the Museum on South MIssion Street; admission is free.
