A 59 year old Wenatchee man was taken to Central Washington Hospital Saturday with what's described as fairly significant, but non-life threatening cuts to his face and neck. Wenatchee police Sergeant Cherie Smith says the assault, in the 100 block of Crawford Street took place a little after 12-30 Saturday afternoon.
The suspect, 30 year old Yonatan Acevedo-Felipe fled the scene on foot and was located later that afternoon by Douglas County Sheriff's deputies in Orondo. Smith says he was booked into the Chelan County Regional Jail, charged with assault 1st degree, domestic violence.
