The merger of Wenatchee Valley Medical Center and Central Washington Hospital has completed its first phase.
The administration services combined on January 1st.

The two hospitals remain financially independent from one another with the next phase scheduled for July.
By then, administrators expect a name change and a complete merge of the two entities.
