Police say a home invasion robbery over the weekend was foiled by the Wenatchee homeowner. Sgt Cheri Smith says it happened Sunday afternoon at a house on King Street. Sgt Smith says the suspect asked the homeowner if he could come inside to use his telephone. . .
Sgt Smith says the suspect, identified as 29 year old Joshua Lee Sailor of Wenatchee. He's in custody on suspicion of first degree robbery and burglary. He also faces narcotics possession charges after officers found a small amount of methamphetamine in his pocket. The male homeowner was treated at Central Washington Hospital for injuries he received in the fight with the suspect.
