01/23/13 Inslee Encouraged After Pot Talk with Holder (AUDIO)
It appears the Federal Government is taking a wait and see approach to any legal action against Washington State's new marijuana law. Following Tuesday's sit down with U.S. Attorney Eric Holder, Governor Jay Inslee is confident about taking the next step towards implementing Initiative 502.
Inslee's intention was to acquaint Holder with how the state will regulate and tax the substance. At this point, Inslee says the federal government has no intention of taking legal action against our state.
