Olympia, WA) -- Washington lawmakers have decided to consider the latest Tim Eyman initiative before deciding whether to send it on to the voters. Initiative 517, which would give initiative sponsors a year to gather petition signatures. That's double the current six months. "The Seattle Times" also says the state Public Disclosure Commission is investigating complaints that 517's costs for paid signature-gatherers weren't properly reported.
