Traffic on Highway 2, near the 59er Diner, was disrupted for a few hours Saturday evening following a three vehicle accident that sent three people to a local hospital. According to the State Patrol, 29 year old Jonathan Missen of Seattle was westbound behind SUV driven by 43 year old Kevin Foster of Marysville. Missen, who was later cited for driving under the influence, hit Foster's SUV from behind. Foster and two of his passenger's were taken to Cascade Medical Center in Leavenworth. Their status was not immediately available. Missen's pickup truck then went into the eastbound lane and struck an eastbound SUV. That vehicle, driven by 31 year old Dustin Ladd of Sumner, left the road, hit an embankment and rolled. The accident, which happened around 5-45p.m. was not cleared until after ten p.m.
