An employee at Cashmere's Crunch Pak facility reported being robbed at knife-point Sunday evening. Chelan County Sheriff Brian Burnett said in a news release that the incident happened around 10 pm when the employee was returning to work after a meal break. The victim reported he was approaching the crosswalk at Paton Street and Sunset Highway when a vehicle pulled up next to him. A man armed with a knife got out of the car and demanded money. Sheriff Burnett says the suspect fled after the victim handed over 200 dollars in cash.
The suspect vehicle was described a black four-door Honda with tinted windows and chrome wheels in a thin spoke pattern.
The suspect was described as a tall black male (approx 6’ tall, late 20’s, long black hair, skinny, wearing a brown shirt with AMOR on the front of it.. The vehicle was driven by a white male (heavy-set, late 20’s, blonde hair).
