12th District Representative Keith Goehner will be holding a series of "Legislative Coffee Chats" around North Central Washington over the next few weeks. Goehner says the first one will take place Tuesday, October 1st in Twisp.

"It's an opportunity for people to come and express some of the concerns that they have about what they observed in this past session. Things that are of significance to some of the outlying communities. Things that are not always on the radar. I'm hopeful that we're going to have an opportunity to interact and get some feedback from people as to what their thoughts are on state government."

The chat in Twisp will take place at the Twisp Town Hall from 10 a.m. to noon.

Rep. Goehner says they want to visit many areas around the district which can be challenging due to its size.

"I'm trying to be systematic and hit some of the different communities that don't get much of an opportunity or don't have big enough issues that really stand out."

Future chats are being scheduled in Soap Lake and Wenatchee.
