The 2019 Washington State Apple Blossom Festival Royalty were selected Saturday night in the Wenatchee High School auditorium.
The Royalty Selection Pageant saw Savannah Slife of Wenatchee High School awarded Apple Blossom Queen. Savannah is the daughter of Eric and Daphne Slife.
Olivia Lancaster of Wenatchee High School and Elizabeth Popoff of Eastmont High School were selected as Apple Blossom Princesses. Elizabeth is the daughter of Don and Lisa Popoff, while Olivia is the daughter of Rick and Sandra Lancaster. Olivia Lancaster also won the Achievement and Congeniality awards.
Finalist Cassidy Cunningham earned the Community Involvement Award, while Citlali Gonzalez-Arroyo won Most Original Speech and Lorena Zepeda took home the Photogenic Award.
The Leman Johnson Award went to longtime festival volunteers Jim and Pat McDonald for their longtime dedication to the Apple Blossom Festival and the community.
The 2019 Royalty will make over 150 appearances at various luncheons and community over the next few months before presiding over the 100th annual Washington State Apple Blossom Festival.
