The Chelan-Douglas Land Trust wants the community to weigh in as the agency begins crafting its next five year strategic plan. In order to gain feedback, CDLT is offering a ten minute online survey available in both English and Spanish.

"The last five years for the Chelan-Douglas Land Trust has been really strong and one of the reasons for that, is the great support from members of the community who have participated, been donors and really care about the future of this place," said Curt Soper, CDLT executive director.

As CDLT reflects on the last five years, with membership growth of 30% and lands protected increasing from 7,000 acres to 21,000 acres, the entity is looking forward to what the next five years will produce.

"What we're doing now is looking at the next five years and where do we want this organization to go? And more importantly, what direction does the community want us to go?" said Soper.

The survey will be available until February 10 and will be instrumental in developing the strategic planning process. The goal is to develop a final five year plan by fall 2020.
