Nine people injured in two separate hit and run traffic collisions.

State Troopers are tracking down a suspect in a Sunday morning four-injury hit and run crash. Troopers say it happened shortly after midnight on State Route 17 when the suspect vehicle collided with a Van after running a stop sign at Randolph Road about two miles North of Moses Lake. The driver of the suspect vehicle, described as a silver 2004 Ford Expedition, fled the scene. The driver of the second vehicle is identified as 35 year old Miranda Waggoner of Moses Lake. She and her three passengers were transported to Samaritan hospital for treatment. Highway 17 was closed for several hours.

Five people were hurt in a second hit and run collision in Grant County Saturday night. State Patrol reports it happened on Highway 28 about a mile and a half West of Ephrata when the driver of a Honda Civic clipped a second vehicle causing it to spin out and crash into a third vehicle. The Civic's driver fled the scene in the area of Dodson Road. where a search was being conducted. All five injured were transported to Samaritan Hospital.
