9th Grant County Resident Dies from COVID-19 Related Complications

A 9th Grant County resident suffered a COVID-19 related death according to the Grant County Health District.

The person was an Ephrata man in his 60s with underlying conditions that put him at higher risk for severe complications from coronavirus.

The county has had about 1,050 confirmed positives during the pandemic with 9 people currently hospitalized.

Chelan and Douglas Counties have combined for more than 1,400 cases through Thursday with 10 deaths.
