Alarm Clocks the Culprit in Chelan Bomb Scare

The roads around the Chelan Post Office are back open after a D-O-D bomb squad cleared the scene. Chelan County Sheriff Kent Sisson  said, "A robot was able to get into the garbage receptacle and found that two different clocks, one was more like a wall clock and the other was an alarm clock had been placed inside the receptacle." The all-clear was given around 3:00 in the afternoon. Sisson says now they will be investigating the circumstances around the clocks looking for, "Who would have put those in there? Whether it was a coincidence that somebody put alarm clocks in the garbage receptacle or did they do it on purpose to get attention or what."
