The Wenatchee Women's+March will start with a rally held at the Numerica Performing Arts Center at 10 on January 18 that will feature speakers such as Attorney General Bob Ferguson and followed by the one mile march.

"The rally will be inside so everyone will have a nice, cozy, warm place to listen to our speakers," said Ashley Sinner, planning committee member. "The main topics for this rally is to demand climate justice, immigration rights and reproductive freedom."

This event falls in solidarity with the Women's March in Washington D.C. along with the Annual Global Women's March. The march is intersectional and all residents, regardless of gender, ethnicity, age, religion, are invited to participate.

"Everyone marches for different reasons and everyone is invited," said Sinner.

The march is a one-mile route along Mission Street and Chelan Avenue between 2nd Street and Yakima Street in downtown Wenatchee.
