The Moses Lake Firefighters union and the local Lions Club are hosting their annual pancake breakfast Saturday morning from 6-11 a.m. at the fire station on 3rd Ave.

Firefighter/Paramedic Garrett Fletcher says proceeds go to the IAFF Benevolent Fund.

"Which provides funding for us to assist other community events such as Operation Warm, we do a toy drive for Firefighters for Kids, and other events such as the Moses Lake Cancer Care Alliance and groups like that."

The Lions Club using their funding for hearing and vision screenings for those need.

Fletcher says in addition to pancakes, there will be eggs, sausage and hashbrowns available with a lot of cool opportunities for the family.

"We also have a lot of our staff on board in order to answer questions about Fire, EMS-related or other questions like that. We also have apparatus around to show and demonstrate some of our equipment."

Tickets can only be purchased at the event on Saturday.
