Annual Sister City Trip Cancelled for 2nd Year in a Row

The Wenatchee Valley Misawa Sister City Association has announced the cancellation of the 2021 delegation trip with the hope to try in 2022.

In a Facebook post announcing the move, organizers said they, "have been fighting to have it happen this year and kept in constant contact with our trip advisors, but the current state of the pandemic is not ideal."

It's the second consecutive year they have had to cancel the trip.

The partnership celebrates the flight of Miss Veedol which will celebrate its 90th anniversary this year.
