Armed Suspects Rob East Wenatchee Marijuana Dispensary

East Wenatchee police are searching for leads after the Happy Crop Shoppe marijuana dispensary on Rock Island Road was robbed Sunday night just before 11:00 pm.

Chief Rick Johnson said three men wearing ski masks, two of which were armed, were able to steal an undetermined amount of cash and marijuana products.

"There were two employees inside the store. One employee was actually assaulted with one of the handguns. No shots were fired." explained Johnson, "Both employees were restrained with duct tape that the suspects had brought with them."

Eventually an employee was able to get free and call the police.

All three suspects left in an unknown vehicle and investigators are asking for security footage from nearby buildings. Police are also following up with other law enforcement agencies to see if there is a connection between this incident and a string of similar robberies this month on the west side of the state.

If arrested, the suspects could be looking at charges including robbery, unlawful imprisonment and assault.
