Big Bend Community College's Center for Business and Industry Services is inviting kids, 7 to 14, to participate in the Virtual Vikings STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) Camp.

The online camp offers weekly classes led by instructors with focus on topics like coding, game design and eSports.

"The idea behind it was to give kids in our area something to keep them occupied while they're still at home," said Tiffany Fondren, communications coordinator. "The virtual Vikings courses are instructor led, all cohort based so students aren't just watching videos. They're really interacting with the instructor and each other."

Summer classes kick off June 7. The classes start at $135.
