Big Delays Through Orondo to Continue

Travelers heading through Orondo the rest of this week could experience significant delays of up to 45 minutes.

WSDOT crews will be working to repair failed chip seal through a nine mile stretch of US 97 from Orondo north. Work is expected to continue from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm daily until Friday.

Motorists traveling between Wenatchee and Chelan are encouraged to use US 97A to the west of the Columbia River as an alternative. Travelers using US 97A should not experience any travel delays.
