The body of a homeless man was found Tuesday morning near a camp off of South Wenatchee Avenue and the George Sellar Bridge.

The discovery was made less than two weeks on May 9th after a homeless man's body was pulled from the Columbia River near the Apple Capital Loop Trail and Riverside 9 apartments.

Wenatchee Police Captain Edgar Reinfeld said, "This does occur periodically. There is nothing to suggest the two are linked. (In the May 9th incident), foul play was ruled out immediately, and with this one there is no indication of anything suspicious or any foul play."

Although the deceased man was identified, there has been no notification of next of kin, so the identity and cause of death are being withheld until the coronor's report in the coming days.
