Candidate Filing Underway
All three 12th District state legislators, Douglas County Commissioners Dan Sutton and Kyle Steinberg along with Chelan County Commissioner Kevin Overbay are among the candidates that filed for re-election on the first day of the available week.
Three people have filed to succeed Chelan County Commissioner Doug England.
Chelan PUD commissioners Steve McKenna and Garry Arseneault also submitted their intention to run for re-election.
4th District Rep. Dan Newhouse and 8th District Rep. Kim Schrier also are running for re-election.
Candidates have until Friday at 4:00 p.m. to register with their respective county auditor's office if they wish to run for public office.
