Careers After School is kicking off December 16 with registration open now and is open to 6th through 12th graders in Chelan and Douglas counties. The Wenatchee Valley Chamber designed the program to connect businesses and industry partners with students to share information and provide hands on activities.

"It's a really great opportunity for students to get an inside, hands on experience with career pathways," said Chelsea Ewer, director of operations. "It's mutually beneficial for the businesses to get to have an impact on the workforce of tomorrow."

The first event is December 16 with a focus on law enforcement at the Wenatchee Police Department. To register and find a detailed list of the 2021-2022 events, visit here.

Wenatchee Valley College Foundation and Alcoa Foundation provided funds to support program participants transportation needs.
