Chelan County has Fourth Lowest Unemployment in the State

Chelan County had the fourth lowest unemployment rate in the state for the month of September according to the Washington State Employment Security Department.

The county had 3.8 percent unemployment, behind only King, Snohomish and San Juan Counties and only those four were below four percent.

Douglas County's unemployment was 4.5 percent while Grant County had 5.2 percent.

The state had 4.6 percent unemployment.

The worst unemployment in the state was in Ferry County.
