The Chelan-Douglas Health District issued a public health advisory "begging" residents to help slow the spread of COVID-19.

In a press release, CDHD says, "Our healthcare system is overwhelmed and can no longer assure access to all needed care."

Healthcare officials have delayed non-emergency surgeries that require an inpatient stay.

Residents are asked to mask when indoors somewhere other than your home, avoid large gatherings and events, and if you haven't already, get vaccinated.
