Christmas Cruise Doubles as a Way to Give Back

Lady of the Lake on Lake Chelan is setting sail on December 14 from 6-7:30 and to hop aboard, folks only need to bring two cans of food. The Christmas Cruise is an opportunity to get into the holiday spirit by giving back to the Chelan Food Bank.

"The purpose is to have a community gathering. We're going to have Christmas carolers on,"  said Julie Martin-Stone, coordinator. "We want people to come, have some Christmas cookies and sing."

Despite no charge, there will be raffle tickets for sale for prizes from local downtown Chelan businesses. All proceeds will support the Chelan Food Bank. Reservations are required, to RSVP call 682-4584 to claim a spot.

The Christmas Cruise may be familiar to Chelan locals as it occurred several years before, so with new ownership for Lake Chelan Boat Company, it was decided to restart the holiday program.
