City of Wenatchee Selects New Executive Services Director

Mayor Frank Kuntz announced Thursday morning Laura Merrill will be stepping into the Executive Services Director position as of February 3. Merrill joins the city of Wenatchee after serving as a Deputy City Manager in Fresno, California. As Deputy City Manager, she was tasked with administrative and managerial assignments along with coordinating and directing activities involved with city wide projects and programs. Merrill is bilingual in Spanish and English and received her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from California State University.

In a press release Merrill stated, "“I am very grateful to the Mayor for this opportunity. I look forward to working alongside such an accomplished team to continue the momentum of impactful projects and purposeful initiatives to date,".
