The weekly Concerts on the Campus series is in full swing at Wenatchee Valley College.

The latest group to play is Fastlane, a cover band of Eagles music.

The goal of the shows is to increase tourist traffic in Wenatchee while raising money for the school through the Wenatchee Valley College Foundation.

Several hundred people went to Thursday night's show, while the band Non Jovi (yes, a Bon Jovi cover bands) will take the stage next Thursday. Styx tribute band Borrowed Time will play on July 24th.

Concerts on the Campus is presented by RLS Productions’ and is partnering with Newsradio 560 KPQ sister station 102.1 The Quake to promote the shows.

The series replaces Concerts in the Gardens, which was suspended last year because of the pandemic. RLS plans to restart Concerts in the Gardens at some point and is looking for an appropriate venue to seat several hundred people.

Overall, the shows have so far raised $65,500 for the Wenatchee Valley College Foundation in recent years, with a goal of reaching $100,000.
