Douglas PUD Commissioners Sets Power Delivery Rate for Large Customers

Douglas County PUD commissioners approved power delivery rates for large customers who are not receiving power from the Wells Project.

"It's a mixture of variable and set fees. Commissioners feel that the rate is going to be beneficial for all of Douglas PUD and those customers that are choosing to do business here," said Meaghan Vibbert, public information officer.

The PUD conducted a public process from January 2021 to April 2021. The rate will go into effect May 1 with a gradual rate adjustment of 2.3%.
