Downtown’s Best Voting Ends Friday

What downtown has the best window display? The best customer service? The deadline to vote on these and other awards is Friday.

Linda Haglund with the Wenatchee Downtown Association says it's important to highlight what these businesses mean to their customers and the community.

"It's important to recognize significant businesses in our small businesses downtown and for the community to be able to say, 'I love this because...' It's good for that business to hear it."

The winners will be announced during the Hearts of Wenatchee Annual Appreciation Dinner on February 22nd.

Haglund says downtown businesses are like a family, yes but, "They are passionate small-business owners and it's important that we recognize that effort but it's also important the networking part of talking to one another."

Haglund says the Appreciation Dinner is the one night they can all get together, let their hair down and celebrate downtown.
